What to plan for
Gmail labels become folders
An email with three labels in Gmail appears once in each matching Zoho folder. We map labels before migration so nothing is duplicated unnecessarily.
Google Docs format
Docs, Sheets and Slides are converted to Microsoft Office formats that open in Zoho Writer, Sheet and Show. Complex Apps Script or Sheets formulas should be tested.
Shared drives and permissions
Shared drives move to WorkDrive Team Folders. Sharing permissions are recreated for internal users; public links must be re-shared.
Google sign-in on other apps
Tools where staff 'Sign in with Google' (Slack, Canva, etc.) need a new login method before Google accounts are removed.
