Historic mail, calendars and contacts are copied using Zoho Mail's admin migration tool and WorkDrive import, running in the background while your team keeps working in Exchange Online / Outlook.

We switch your MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, usually after office hours. New mail starts arriving in the new platform within an hour.

What to plan for

Outlook desktop users

Zoho works in Outlook over IMAP or ActiveSync, and Zoho provides a sync tool for calendar and contacts. We set this up for staff who prefer to stay in Outlook.

Shared mailboxes and groups

Exchange shared mailboxes become Zoho shared mailboxes or group accounts; distribution lists become Zoho groups.

Teams dependency

If your team relies heavily on Teams, plan the move to Zoho Cliq and Zoho Meeting alongside email, or keep Teams Essentials for a transition period.

Desktop Office licences

Moving off Microsoft 365 Business Standard removes desktop Office. Identify users who still need it before cancelling.
